care of me and thankfully I am feeling loads better but I got a summer cold that sent me home from work early on three days so no good at all. Friday though, I took a personal day and got ready for a visit from my mom in honor of the Olympic Opening Ceremonies!! We ordered Chinese in and watched every second of the opening ceremonies in cool crips HDTV! I didn't get too many pictures that night since we were pretty glued to the TV but we had a great time! Yesterday, I did the 4th Annual Heartland Walk for Health. Shane and mom enjoyed a nice sleep in and I brought bagels home for everyone then we went to a late lunch and long chat at McCallisters Deli. 
This week we are planning to go the State Fair and enjoy a week without school for me. Shane is looking forward to me being home to cook and spend time together. We are so ready for my masters to be over. Only 2 semesters left!
