This weekend's theme was going back to the beginning or so it seemed... It was my (Erika's) 10 year high shool reunion (ten years... shocking I know!). We got there a little late but were able to say hi and catch up a tad with several of my classmates. Its so surreal to see them "all grown up". We then had a lovely dinner with Billie and Boone and then a visit with Donald and Shelly and of course drove around Terre Haute some too. It was all very surreal.
Macabean says, "Leave me alone, I'm resting up for the Olympic Opening Ceremonies on Friday, mommy..."
While in Terre Haute we had a few extra minutes between events and decided to test drive one of the cars on our "list"... a Pontiac Solstice. I loved every second of it and it is high on my list of favorite cars driven. Sadly, we didn't get any pictures at reunion or dinner :( but snapped a few in the Solstic (what was I thinking? I'm losing my edge I think?)
You can tell I'm totally stoked... Shane sadly is too tall to really enjoy the drive hence the not so happy face :(
Friday night I went to dinner with Melissa for her birfday... and we got her a new tattoo! I won't steal her thunder but her tattoo I think is a good one for her....it definatly made me catch the bug for another one....
Post dinner, pre tattoo... Can you tell we are pasta and marinara drunk?
Prayers are also requested for my Aunt Joy who is in the hospital. I'm not sure of all the particulars yet... nor are the doctors so that is frustrating... anyway, thank you in advance for your love and prayers, they are always much appreciated.

.......T-minus 5 days until mom comes to celebrate the opening ceremonies with us!!!!
