Hi!

First of all, Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dad's we know... family and friends who are raising and have raised some pretty wonderful people! 

We are indeed here! It has been a busy few months of mostly unexciting things like work, unexciting house projects, and a little fun mixed in. In May, in celebration of our 8th wedding anniversary (and to visit some wonderful friends) we took a vacation to Hawaii! We spent a week on Oahu falling in love with the North Shore and relaxing together. To say it was amazing is an understatement (and to say we spent a lot of time in the air is also an understatement) :) 

As we came home and started what is already proving to be a hot summer we said "see you later" to Shane's brother and his wife as they moved to the Bay Area of California for Todd's new job! We are super excited for them but it has been an adjustment from having them so close to being 3,000 miles away. Although, it also makes it that much easier to fulfil my wish of spending a birthday lounging and sipping wine in the Napa Valley which we just booked the tickets for (come on November!!). 

So, what have you been up to? I promise to get better about this whole posting business again! Promise!
