Homecoming

Shane, Macabean, and I are all excited that fall is here in our little corner of the world! The air is crisp, the skies are overcast, and the smell of pumpkin spice is in the air!

This past weekend we visited The Woods for my Homecoming and met up with our friends Jenn and Jon and their son, Connor along with lots of Woodsies and friends of The Woods. We watched the soccer team win 7-0, enjoyed some brats and brew, and wandered around campus. While the leaves weren't changing yet the air was cool and everything had that warm cozy Woods feel! I don't think the guys enjoyed it quite as much as Jenn and I did but they were great sports!
Shane and I at the shrine where we were married. (Jenn and Jon were also married here). The soccer team about to make a goal. Jenn, Jon, and Shane enjoying the soccer game.
Jenn and Connor enjoying a little lunch.
Jenn and I behind Le Fer aka our home for 4 years.
Alpacas!!!!!!
I've been working on knitting my first sweater. Shane has been working on beating a few new games, and Bean has been well... fluffy :) Thankfully, things seem to be slowing down and we're able to enjoy the change in weather.

Oh, and my amazing sister sent me this picture of my oldest niece Mikayla and I at the Villa Katherine from our trip to Quincy. Go ahead, google the Villa Katherine... you know you want to..basically, a middle eastern villa on the banks of the Mississippi complete with a great story.
