Introducing Erika L. Chapman, MPH

After 3 long years, lots of hard work, countless papers written and pages read, and loads of support from my family and friends (and Shane of course!)I finally finished my Masters of Public Health and celebrated graduation this past Saturday!

All decked out in my academic garb. Why oh why must public health be salmon pink?!

Shane and I following the School of Medicine Ceremony.
Friday, my mom came to town and helped us with last minute preparations for the weekend festivities with Shane's parents and our dear friend Colleen coming in later in the evening. Saturday was the big day and we all got up early and headed downtown for the School of Medicine Ceremony. My dad me the rest of the crew in the crowd while I met up with my MPH friends. The ceremony itself was very MD centered however, the luncheon that followed was all about public health and was really a celebration of our class! It was a blast! Not to mention the view from the hotel's "Panorama Room" was incredible! Sunday, we celebrated with friends and family with an Open House & Brunch.
With my parents at Sunday's Open House & Brunch.
With my Grandma Reichard at Sunday's Open House & Brunch. She is one of my favorite people!

Me & My Shaney... the best husband ever!

While there are just a few pictures here, the following link will take you to the shutterfly.com gallery so you can check out a lot more of them!

Finally, in answer to the question, "what are you going to do with your time now?", I have a list;
- learn to play guitar (thanks Jill!)
- learn a few new knitting stitches (thanks Mom!)
- do some much needed deep cleaning and organizing (thanks Shane!)
and
- RELAX with Shane & Macabean!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you that have supported me and us while I was in school! I am truly blessed with amazing family and friends and I am so thankful to have each of you in my life!
