The House Hunt Plan

It's been a long time since we posted last and for that we are sorry however, we've been pretty busy. In the coming months there is a ton going on so we should be posting a lot more often.... and with more pictures!

We have been asked a lot about our "house hunt" and so I thought for this post we might take a second to discuss said, house hunt. We do have it narrowed down to a few Indianapolis neighborhoods including Homecroft (south central part of the city Madison and Banta if you know your way around), the redeveloped near northside (Fall Creek Place), and Washington Township (Broadripple). Although, to be perfectly honest, we just want a cute house, an easy commute, and a charming neighborhood. That said, we are also not "offially" looking either. Instead, we are waiting and watching a.) the market, b.) the interest rate craziness and c.) the fallout from the recent property tax mess, in hopes that in a few months we might be able to get a little more house for our money. Our lease runs through March so as weird as it sounds, we are waiting for the market to drop so we can scoop up something amazing (while being totally realistic of course... well at least Shane is). So that's the deal. Not as exciting as one would think but hey, the rent's cheap!

In other news, it looks like Erika will graduate with her MPH in May 2009, Shane updgraded our server, and Macabean got a clean bill of health at his yearly exam.

We have a lot going on in the next couple weeks that we'll surely post oodles about including (but of course not limited to) Race for the Cure at The Woods followed by a wee trip to Bloomingon, Amy & Carlos' wedding, a roadtrip with friends in the works, and of course.. Black Friday (er, Thanksgiving) in 7 short weeks!!!

In the meantime, Erika finally finished uploading pictures of the 2007 NFL Kickoff Events & Concert so check them out on our shutterfly album (a link is on your upper right side --->)
