Enjoying 2007

The holidays are over, the daily grind has begun again and we are actually LIVING TOGETHER!!!

No, the house hasn't sold... but Shane needed to move to IUPUI to start his latest project and I am NOT complaining! We missed living together so much and it just feels so good to be together again. He is working on getting settled into his new cube here and finding quick ways to work :-)

This past weekend we celebrated Christmas with Mom and Dad Chapman and Todd and Roxann (and our "nieces" Chloe and Lilly kitties). It was nice to relax with them and catch up on everyone's goings on. Before heading to Todd and Roxann's we stopped and looked at a new truck for Shane. He has been having transmission problems and we have talked about getting a smaller truck for moving, house projects and all the other things trucks are good for.. Anyway, we ended up buying a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT. It's a pretty basic black truck and will suit us nicely! Shane is planning to drive the truck until the house sells and he can find a "fast, fun car".

In house news... a few weeks ago we lowered the price and we have had lots of showings. We had an Open House today but haven't heard how it went yet. I just want the darn thing to sell!!! The money and the flexiability of not having the Bloomington house would be nice.

Classes started last week and I am taking Seminar Series II and Biostatistics... so far so good... I just want to be done with the math stuff so I can start the "fun" stuff.

All in all we are doing well and keeping busy. It's just so nice being together.. we really can't ask for much more than that.

Peace be with you...
